2nd Stage of Public Consultation
An initial public consultation in July, using generic proposals, resulted in a firm proposal that was notified by letter, by street notice, by caravan exhibition in St Luke's School, by advertisement in the local Echo and by notification on the bournemouth.gov.uk website. Some useful examples of these documents are below- The letter to Residents.
- The plan that accompanied the letter to residents.
- Councillor Stratton also notified the community on the Winton forum.

Amended Plans
Following (a fairly heated!) public consultation, the plans were amended to reflect local concerns.- List of proposed amendments as a result of public support or objection during consultation

Local Controversy
The amended plans appear not to have assuaged local concerns, and controversy hangs over the plans. As a result local councillor Theo Stratton has called the plans in to Overview and Scrutiny on Monday 5th Dec 2011. At this meeting the plans will be reviewed. LOCALS WISHING TO SPEAK AT THE MEETING MUST REGISTER THEIR COMMENTS/QUESTIONS WITH DEMOCRATIC SERVICES (claire.gray@bournemouth.gov.uk) BY FRIDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2011. Councillor Johann Edward has attended an emergency meeting with local officers and will update the Winton Action Group on Wed 1 Dec 2011. Anyone wishing to give us feedback can email theo on theo@wintoneast.com.see the results of the survey here
